Meet Dr. Unnati Amin

Dr. Amin is a New York native who attended the University of Pennsylvania and received her Bachelor’s Degree in Biology. She attended SUNY at Buffalo School of Dental Medicine for the commencement of her professional education and graduated cum laude with a minor in Pediatric Dentistry. After a general practice residency at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Manhattan and some time practicing general dentistry, Dr. Amin decided to pursue her passion for Periodontics. She received her certificate in Periodontics from the prestigious VAMC in Manhattan. Dr. Amin is a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology, Board certified periodontist who is a member of the American Dental Association, New Jersey Dental Association and Central Dental Society.

“I believe healthy bone and gum tissue are the foundation of good oral health, which can also impact overall wellbeing. Maintaining and monitoring periodontal health are crucial for the success of any dental therapy and patient care is of the utmost importance to me. I pride myself on my compassionate and gentle approach and believe that communication and education are key to a mutual understanding which leads to better results".

Dr. Amin has settled with her family in New Jersey and enjoys hiking, spending time with her children and traveling.
